In 1994, a group named Dysfunkshunal Familee put out a single on the underground
called "New Ruff Flava", produced by Crazy DJ Bazarro.

They pressed up 500 pieces of vinyl and gave Dan Smalls who was working at
Loud Records at the time, 200 pieces for radio. It was suppose to be a
"let's see what will happen project" says Bazarro.

Something did happen, a big write up in Gavin Magazine lead to Bazarro getting
phone calls from almost every independent & major label in the game.
1995, 12" New Ruff Flava Remix. An EP feat. Finsta Bundy in 1996.

"The Un-Released Album", an internet classic that never came out commercially.
DJ Bazarro speaks on the "Family Reunion" album:

"I wanted the flava from the 94' sound updated and have guest
producers and artists on the album. I didn't want to produce the
whole album, I wanted producers I like and their input also.

Amayss is a incredible MC and has a beautiful voice. D-Rock is the rugged
one who goes hard on every beat. We brought DJ Skinny on board for
producing and DJing. It's a team effort.
