This event has gotten artists DJ Mix Tape placements, radio and TV interviews and independent “one off” album deals. In 2008 CoalMine Music expanded and opened its latest edition, the CoalMine Music Management Division, headed by Joanne Coleman. Working with major and independent artists, she was also part of the Chicago division of the Stop the Violence Movement with KRS One.
