Producer Grant Parks sets to release "Net Weight" Compilation & [Single] Underground King - Juice, produced by Grant Parks

Grant Parks is one of the first producers in Chicago to put out producer artist compilations giving artists and his production exposure. Grant & CoalMine Music, Inc. has used these compilations as a chart or reference for industry insiders on who to check for next. With diverse production, Grant drops some heat and delivers "Net Weight", which features the hottest emcee's Grant has worked with over the past 8 months. The first release is called “Underground King”, which features freestyle battle champ Juice!

All tracks are produced by Grant Parks and hosted by Pugs Atomz, features include: Sadat X, A.G. (DITC), Rhymefest, Juice, Pugs Atomz, Phil G., Skooda Chose, Project Mayhem, Simeon of The Primeridian, YP, Rashid Hadee, Carona Brone, Straw (Tha Vegas Don), HB Sol (The Policy King), Lil Mikey, Bobby Rocwell, 950 Plus, Seryiouz and Suave (Da Lyricist). Pugs comes through the CoalMines for a photo shoot with Grant Parks for the Pugs Atomz/Grant Parks "Kinda Like A Rapper" Album due out spring 2010 before heading back out Feb. 10th for another Europe tour. Pugs and Carona Brone go in on a freestyle over a fresh new made beat by Grant Parks. Simeon of Primeridian also came thru to join and laid 16 for the actual song - stay tuned! The first video release off Grant Parks Comp. The Moment Of Clarity, "Top of the World". This is one of the last songs Grant Parks produced and recorded with Crazy 8 and rhyming partner First Mic before Crazy 8's life was tragically taken earlier this year. Grant saw it fit to add "Top Of The World" to his latest compilation as a tribute. Cousin to Rhymefest, Crazy 8 knew what it took and had a very promising future. Take a moment in retrospect as Crazy 8 & First Mic tell an eerie story and raps what seems to be his own life in this song.

June 4th 2009 Miguel Russell a.k.a Crazy 8's life was Tragically taken and his dream of being one day on top of the world was shattered. Hip hop has lost yet another soon to be great.He has left behind a loving Mother, his kids, a long list of family and close friends. Thanks for the memories and may your art continue to live on forever!
